About McMurtry Disposal

McMurtry Disposal was started in 1937 by Tom McMurtry, who envisioned having a small, family owned and operated trash disposal business.  He offered quality trash disposal service for people in the Nashville area.  He was always dedicated to servicing his customers. 

James McMurtry, Tom's son, started his own trash disposal service in the 1960s.  He picked up where his father left off.  James wanted to provide quality trash disposal service for people in the Madison area.  James McMurtry has continued to keep the vision of Tom alive by continuing to operate a small, family owned, trash disposal business. 

Even though times have changed throughout the years, and McMurtry Disposal has grown in size, there are still a lot of characteristics that continue to keep McMurtry Disposal a small, family owned and operated business.  The majority of the employees at McMurtry Disposal are either family members or close family friends who all share the same dedication and commitment to providing quality trash disposal service.  Our number one goal is to provide quality trash disposal service for people in our service areas, while maintaining the quality service and dedication that our current customers have come to expect.
